@cblover7 You? don’t have to be so rude about it!

The Vita-Mix is an incredibly rugged and versatile kitchen aid. I waited too long to buy one, thinking they were expensive — nothing could be further from the truth. I have “amortized” my Vita-Mix on salad dressings, alone. Store-bought salad dressings are expensive — up to $4.00 or more per bottle. They include preservatives and other “stuff”. With my Vita-Mix I “whip up” creamy garlic, vegetarian, and numerous other recipes. I bought one for each of my kids and one for? a friend.

@AHealthyKitchen This looks like a tasty soup, but can? I use something in place of the potatoes; I don’t want all the starchy carbs from the potatoes.

@AHealthyKitchen? I don’t want the carbs from potatoes; can I use something else instead?

@AHealthyKitchen so the vita mix actually heats up food that is already cooked. good to? know, otherwise i assumed you were using raw potatoes and onions.

Thank you for the video. If I may ask, did you first blend a? few ingredients to make it smooth and creamy and then add the rest of the ingredients at a slower pace so that they can remain chunky? Also, what is the model of this vita-mix? I’m interested in purchasing one.

    yummy?

@AHealthyKitchen, No i had plenty of potatoes, but the recipe had? too much milk and it was too thick it just tasted awful.

  9. AHealthyKitchen says:

@cblover7 Hi, I’m sorry you didn’t like it, but I’ve made it several times quite successfully. Possibly your potatoes were on the small side? If you? liked the flavor, but not the texture, you may want to try it again and add more potatoes. Thanks for your feedback.

@CosmicBreathing. You’ll want to use cooked potatoes. You can either bake them or boil them, or I’ve even used grilled potatoes that I had left over. Each way makes for? a bit different taste. Thanks for your question :)

    Hi,
Great Video thanks.? One quick question are the potatoes that you are adding raw or are they baked or boiled?
